(return to www.justicewebsites.com)
I started my website business just over a year ago, when it became obvious to me that family, friends, and other associates had a genuine need for the service.
Several years before, a former college professor and old friend called because my alma mater needed an adjunct to teach the subject, "I heard a rumor you do websites," he said, "and we need someone that does that and I know you'll do it right." I had to decline the position due to other obligations, but somewhere in the back of my mind, Justice Websites began to form. Within weeks, my father called about the possibility of building a site for his investigation firm, and my then employer began asking questions about redesigning the corporate website.
Inside the year, I found myself seriously considering a teaching position with a small private school, and once I decided to accept the position, I began to organize a strategy for my students. Beyond the curriculum, I implemented a website for parents. Brownie points for me. The parents - and my new boss - loved it. When the school website mysteriously disappeared from the Internet, I was the obvious choice to rebuild it, and to maintain it. When I announced my plans to begin a business involving web design and computer classes, school management threw its support behind me, and things began to roll.
So here I am more than several websites later, thriving from word of mouth referrals, and really, truly blessed by this little adventure. I've met some great folks and I'm having too much fun for this to be work.
Thanks for visiting my blog. I hope you come back soon.
